My method is a combination
of theory, composition, and performance. As an example, if the
student wants to learn classical - we learn how to play it, write
it, and improvise it. If the student wants to learn pop, blues, or
jazz - ditto. I don't throw a bunch of songs at the learner, we
learn why the music was written that way so you can understand the
theory of music, and not just the notes. |
