I offer a
somewhat unique approach to playing the guitar. As a
teacher and practitioner of both music and tai chi chuan,
I've come to understand that the two are actually closely
related. I incorporate some of the practice principles and
techniques of tai chi. I've found that, within a short
period of time, those students who choose to take this
seemingly 'off the path' approach seriously are less
frustrated with their instrument and get more enjoyment
out of playing music. |
